My name is Martin Meiner Tästensen. I live in Galten, Denmark and work as a freelance IT consultant with focus on Azure.

As a Microsoft CSP reseller, I can offer seamless access to Microsoft's cloud services, licenses, and support while providing our customers with a comprehensive range of innovative and tailored solutions to meet their unique business needs.
Who am I?
I am a positive-minded IT professional with more than 10 years of experience in various IT roles. I love to build, create, and see how an idea can become a system affecting hundreds or thousands of employees – and at the same time try to make the system work as smoothly as possible to give the best end user experience.
In the first decade of my career, I primarily focused on classic infrastructure where I worked with a deep knowledge level on both network and servers – the latter ranging from physical servers over OS layer and all the way to the services installed on the server.
My background and IT competences
Throughout the first decade of my career, I focused on the following categories/products:
- Microsoft servers, services and roles (onprem and O365)
Citrix (Netscaler) - Networking, primarily based on Cisco Catalyst, Checkpoint Firewall, and Citrix Netscaler
- Hyper-V Configuration and maintenance
- Powershell and C#
All of the above make me accurately fit the description of an IT generalist.
In 2018, I decided to shift my focus to cloud products with a specialist focus on Azure. Therefore, I embarked on a journey of learning and implementing the different building blocks that Azure consists of.
Consequently, my current and future focus areas are the following:
- Azure (IAAS, PAAS, and SAAS) – transitioning customers to the optimal solutions
- Migrating and transitioning workloads from classic infrastructure to Azure
- Powershell, JSON, and Azure CLI
- IAAC – terraform, bicep, and terragrunt
